It's a W-25 hood, not W-30.
usbodysource makes them but they are of poor quality and need allot of tweaking, not to mention they aren't functional...
I've tried to get VFN Fiberglass in Chicago to make them for 81-88 since they make them functional for 73-77 but they don't have enough people interested supposedly.
If enough people hound them I'm sure they will...

any chance at one for a '78-'80 Cutlass? I'd snatch one up in a heart beat...

Sweet! Looks very cool.
Any way to get rid of that ridge at the back of the hood between the two scoops and lower the scoops a little?
The scoops are pretty tall, doesn't look clean... a deal killer for me I hate to say.
Looks too much like a cowl hood that screems Monte SS. Angelo Valanti's FE3x had it done just right:

I hate to be picky would be interested in one if it didn't have that, looks too much like someone molded scoops on top of a hood. Looking for something exactly like a factory 70-72 W-25 hood:

What about having hood lock pins like the original 70-72 W-25 hoods? These hoods really need them based off experience.

I have an aluminum hood that has some damage on the front so its just a good frame, looking to have a W-25 hood made out of it, do you guys use original steel frames and mold the fiberglass on top or is the whole hood fiberglass?
Do you use screens underneath?

Looking to buy two hoods if they look exactly like this with factory 70-72 W-25 locking pins, I can bring my car by anytime this fall before it snows out to show you what I'm exactly looking for, mine isn't functional and maybe it just might be easier to possibly have it made funtional instead of a custom order??? contact me via PM anytime:

I would love this hood, if the angle of the scoops were matched to the angle of the hood. With the outter edges of the scoops being farther back than the inner part of the scoops, the slant is wrong looking. That is my only gripe about this hood.

I just don't think the W25 style scoop works on the G body, the hood is to short for this style of scoop.I would like a after market hood for my G body but I have not found one that looks as good as the stock hood. I'm not a fan of the trunk spoiler and body kits, I find they take away from the lines of the car.

We have that ridge at the back because we wanted to make something slightly taller and we want it to be functional it will offer a little more clearance than a stock hood this way (Most of our customers are looking for More clearance), The white car in the photo looks awesome, my only issue is the scoops are very thin looking from a side profile and fade to near nothing at the back unlike the original hoods which are pretty stout , this hood is pictured on a table it was matched using my car so once done ill post pictures of it installed I think you'll see what i mean it will be awesome. :)

I'll have to disagree with you, the hood on my car believe it or not has loads of clearance under the hood and the white color throws off the profile. The scoops are not thin and are pretty tall, any taller and it starts to look obnoxious and throws the lines off on the car, I'll bring it in so you can see for yourself. Any taller and it starts to be an issue with seeing over the dang thing.
The hood is already loud so that is why it was made with a lower profile, plus Oldsmobiles are more of a gentelmans car with subtle agressivness, more of a luxury sports car/cruiser, not an in your face lets race... also G-body Cutlasses are not as agressive looking as the Muscle Car era 68-72 Cutlasses and are also not as agressive looking as Monte's are.
That is why cowl hoods look horrible on them and the tall hood doesn't work because of the sloping of the nose, before you know it your car starts too look like the side profile of Jerry Springers nose (which I've seen in person before).
Regardless Kudos for taking on the task, I would still want one, perhaps custom made as well as adding an air box to mine.
