Hey Whats up guys, Ive been on the forum for a couple months now but havent really posted anything.Well, here it is My 1983 cutlass original 3.8 V6(bone stock) I got it november 2011 from a guy who bought it from the original owners(with all papers on it since 1999) Which is also the year(99")that the car was last moved out the garage. So when I got it it had been sitting for about 11-12 years. So me being 23 years old and very excited to get another gbody since my one crapped out on me before driving it,anyway I bought the car the guy says it has original 43,000 miles on it(BS the title said 103,000) and running, without really checking it out I said "SOLD" and bought it for 2500$...my *ss still hurts because I was raped, it was running but barely and had alot of undercarriage surface rust(chicago car duhhh) .I also should mention im a student at Lincoln Tech and am very ambitious, sooooo I quickly decided im building a street machine  and the photos will tell the rest of the story. Might I add you guys on this forum are awesome and have helped me more than anyone on this build(one other guy and he's a student too, but dont sleep on our skills), SPECIAL THANKS TO YOU FORUM GUYS!!!!!!

Cool project. You will need an adapter plate to mate a BOP trans to a Chevy. Jegs p/n 555-60170 55 bucks.
I have a friend that had a 385 stroker in a 78 with the BOP trans.
