I'm in the process of having a 383 Chevy Small block built for my cutlass. Not going LS, not going OLDS, so I'll save some of you the breath. I am retaining the stock hood and will not be going cowl. I have heard stories of the RPM air gap intakes being too high to allow the carb to clear the hood. What sort of intake manifolds are you running and how are the clearances? I'd prefer not to remove the hood paid. Thanks everyone in advance. I'd like to hear what you're running.
