Look on the option code sticker in the trunk for option W42 and the 8th digit in the vin should be a 9

Good luck

$1600 isn't bad right? it runs and drives. its just that I'm buying it a state over so i ill have to pay $200-$500 shipping fee since i don't have a trailer.

The VIN proves it's a 442.
Check the VIN stamp pad on the block to verify that it matches the VIN on the cowl or look for a thick harmonic balancer and cast iron manifolds like a 350 would come with.
Check the trans tag for KZF and you can also check the VIN stamp on the drivers side.
The 8.5 is easy to ID, just check for square fangs below the cover, Google images can help aid in the ID.
Seems that if this is a one owner car everything should be original.
It's a very rare car with the CF5 sunroof option, if it were me I would restore back to stock instead of hacking it up with mods but to each is own...

FYI this topic has been best like a dead horse on this board.
Search VIN and you'll have your answers...
The VIN pad is on the drivers side below the head ID 7A.
