That is one of the nicest 2-dr conversion G-body wagons that I've ever seen. Appears to have a high level of craftsmanship.

If you ever see it again, could you take a rear picture of it?

It is great work but I think it's a conversion of a 2 door cutlass into a wagon, the A pillar is sloped back like a two door

Steve,
I've seen it done where the A-pillars were slanted back to meet the angle of the coupe glass. I believe it required some cutting on the forward section of the roof.

aren't the fenders on a wagon and 4 door different than a 2 door as well?. It just seems to me that it would be much easier to add the back half than to redo the front half..

The 2-dr and 4-dr fenders are in fact different...and the doors of course. This wagon could have very well been pieced together from a coupe and back section of a wagon.

anywhichway it was done it looks awesome. I wonder if there are just the front seats in the car with a long bed behind them....

Looks like it started life as a '78-'80 2-door with a wagon rear clip, '81-'87 hood, and you can see where they rounded the corners of the '87 header panel to match the earlier fenders.
The trans-am looking chin spoiler covers up the difference in the lower fenders body line.

I'd like to see more of it!

That car looks really sharp. To me, it looks like it started out as a 2 door, with the wagon rear clip grafted on. It would have been really interesting to see a build thread on that car. The B pillar thickness looks different (wider). I'd like to know what he used for the rear quarter glass, and I'd be interested to know exactly where the exterior mirrors came from. Also looks like the taillights are in the rear quarters, instead of the bumpers. I agree, if the OP ever sees this car again, try to get some more photos of it from different angles, and if possible, some build info from the owner. Thanks for sharing the photos.

It is a wagon, with front fenders, hood, clip and doors from a 2dr cutty. He angled the windshieald pillars so it matched the doors. He goes by the name Doc Olds.. hehe
If i spot it again i will take alot more pics :)
