Olds 350 swao help

I just swapped the 307 out my 86 442, for a 71 350, its in but the engine mount isnt lining up right, can get the bolt in the hole it off about 1/8 th , anyone have this problem ,was just going to drill it

Don't drill it. If it's not lining up then you just need to keep fiddling with it. They can be a pain sometimes but it'll go.

This is assuming you are using all of the correct mounts. As long as you left the 307 frame mounts and have 307 replacement engine mounts then everything will line up.

Agreed, don't drill. What is the current state of the engine? Connected to trans? Other bolt in? Still on the hoist? If the other bolt is in, try taking it out and focus on the problem one first. If it's close, use a drift to pull it into line. If it's not connected to the trans, do this and disconnect the trans mount if necessary. If it's still on the hoist, go up and down a few times, just an inch or less. As Andrew said, if you used the right parts, it will fall in.
