Most of you already know that the Instrument cluster came with a vacant low fuel light. GM made a module (no longer available) that came as an option in the Rivs/Lesabres and other GM models that could be used to retrofit the Rally Pack gauges to make the low fuel light work. I found an aftermarket solution on the Kirban Performance site that was made to use with the Regal Cluster. I sprang for the $43 bucks they were asking and figured I'd give it a try...here is a tutorial for those wanting an option that should have come equip from the factory


Remove springs from back of board, not used in this application:

Solder wires to vacant (+) (G) (S) terminals

Terminate wires on the posts shown: (+) 9 O'clock (G) 12 O'clock (S) 3 O'clock

Insulate board and remount Cluster, Low Fuel will light briefly with the other indicator with ignition switch:

Light comes on when needle hits orange (about 1/8th tank)

And flashes when fuel critical (click image below for short clip)
