I took my steering column apart today to put in a new wiper switch, turn signal switch, turn signal lever and loctite the tilt bolts. After I was done with the project, this was laying on the front floor mat...

It appears to either be plastic conduit for a wire or slips over a metal edge to protect wires from chafing. Could be from anywhere under the driver's side dash.

Has anybody seen this before? I can't tell where it would have come from.

Thanks!

My cutlass has that. It slides up in between the column cover and column and is used kind of like a conduit for wires that go to multifunction lever
