best glue to use on cars??

my back window trim piece fell off when i washed my car (the top piece only) also im mssing the front clip to the chrome trim the goes down the middle of my hood so it sticks up i was wondering what glue u recommened that will be best to hold bothin place???

the guy who painted it put double sided grey 3m tape.. that shit did not hold up

cuz its all glued in place already so ill just leave it like that before i damage the trim and the top part didnt have any.. since it kind of locks in place im guessing he left it like that thinking it wont fall off

Bulldog grip, at your local hardware store..

By the way, 3M makes different strengths of tapes. A regular or "general purpose" won't do. You have to get the 3M molding double sided tape -- it's what I bought and used for the molding on my car, works great. Look it up on 3M's website, there different strengths of tape, you might have to order it in from a local autobody supply shop.
