Height of cowl hood

Hey everyone, i am in the process of buying a cowl hood for my MC, thing is i dont know what hight to get, could anyone here post some pictures of thier cars with hood scoops on and telling me the hieght, that way i will be able to make up my mind on what to buy, i dont want to buy one and ending up not liking it.

i have a 4 inch cowl on my cutlass. got the hood from summit.mine is a Goodman as well.

Mine is a 4" cowl bolt on hood made by Harwood, anything larger than this is usually a pin on hood which is a pain on a street car.

I have a 2.5" steel Goodmark hood. IMO they dont look right without the "COWL INDUCTION" emblems like the original cowl hoods had.

Thank you to all that have posted some pictures of your rides, by the way your cars look awsome now i must decide on what size i will go with, i'm thinking 3" or 4".

I put a 2" fibreglass cowl on mine. I like the way it looks, not too bold, and lots of clearance. I got mine from glasstek. It's worth mentioning that there was almost no body work required which was nice. Sorry didn't have anything more recent with the paint done.
