I've been thinking of buying a tubbed 79 Malibu. I'm familiar with 4 links and ladder bar set ups and have seen tubbed Novas with leaf springs moved in-board. This Malibu has 31 x 18.5 rear tires but with what appears to be a somewhat stock looking triangulated 4 link. I'm going to post a link hear to the Craigslist add. Hopefully one of you (with more knowledge than me) can tell me if you've seen this set up before or whether or not I should move forward with the purchase? The car is 10 hours from my location so I'm trying to gather information and decide if its worth the drive.
