Yes, theres a guy that has a kit to put a weiand or a 6/71 blower on a 79-87 buick 3.8. You can't use a M90 (front wheel drive GM 3800) as the seals wont survive the gas. Unless you use a 86/87 GN lower intake and build a mounting plate and run E85 on it. Good luck on the drive.

If you want to use a 3800 L67 you can do a RWD swap, Im doing one into a 4th gen Fbody now. But that takes a ton of fab work. A scary amount actually.

are those good blowers?

They are eaton m90 (essentially the same as the 3800 fwd superchargers), but keep in mind they were designed for fuel injected applications. You would have to have a good aluminum welder to be able to mount a carb ontop of one of those blowers, but if you could get a oem grand national fuel injection take-off from a racing guy for peanuts, you could make it work. They aren't the most efficient blowers out there...but I went low 13s on one in a fwd monte, and dipped into the 12's on good gas and a 75 shot (wet). The best of that style eaton blower came on the 2004+ grand prix and was referred to as a "genv"

If you want to keep it carbureted....probably easiest way would be to get a centrifugal supercharger head-unit (vortech, paxton etc), and make a bracket to mount it to your motor, and blow it through the carb....but it would be a little overkill for a stock 3.8 unless you have played with blow-through carbs before. all and all its in the tune. If you know what your doing and can piece together a setup...you could run low boost on the cheap (relativly speaking), and have a fun street car.
