Ontario, Canada eh!
84sscutty on I think you ideas are good, and some great suggestions in this thread.
Take a look at my custom hood, if you need an idea how it looks etc..
4" fiberglass cowl scoop
"Daytona style" camaro hood scoop side pieces molded into the sides
2 naca ducts moldted into the front

I too will be building a custom hood for my Buick wagon, I have had a cowl hood on many of my cars, and they are everywhere, everyone has one for looks. I need mine for engine height, anyhow, I seen that camaro hood on TGO, i don't know if he ever finished it.

Is my cowl hood considered one that doesnt keep the body lines? If so i disagree with that statement.

If the picture of the hood in the original post is considered a "deflector" hood, that is the same thing I am doing with the Regal hood. I wanted the cowl to follow the original body line of the hood. I have a friend that works in the fabrication shop at Michael Waltrip Racing and he is doing the work for me. I have also been considering having him stamp some louvers at the front corners, because my 10" conical air filters sit directly behind the headlights
