Here are some links and vids about my car and the shop I work at. FYI I have two cars, an 84 Cutlass Supreme (White) and a 79 Cutlass Salon (Brown). The white car is Olds Powered and the brown one is Chevy Powered. I believe Cutlassracer posted some ARB pics earlier in this thread, thats my current set-up in the white car. Anyway check out the links they should answer most of your questions.....

Thats great! To answer the question about drag racing yes I do do it. I went my first time when I was 16 or 17. I have never takin the Cutlass because it had the wonderful 307 with a rod knock. I was taking my 00 Grand Prix for a while but that car has over 170,000 miles and I am not trying to blow that up. Maybe next summer I might have my Cutlass running and driving with the Olds 350 I have in it. This is my first project car I have ever done and I am learning so much from the experience. I love how I have also got a bunch of my friends hooked on drag racing also. They didnt think they would really like it that much but after I take them they love it! The last time I went to the track I beat my buddies 5.0 Mustang and he hated me for that! :D Hopefully I will be doin the same thing to his car when I get my Olds driving.

I try to make as many Tuesday night Test & Tunes as I can. My car gets cruised more than raced but it still stomps most Mustangs.

I've been racing on and off since the early 90s. Raced my 87 Turbo Regal 2 weeks ago. Ran a best of 13.37 @ 104 mph with a 2.2 60 foot on 17 psi of boost, car gas a lot more left in it.

My last run was 12.30 in 1/4 mile. Thats with 327 w/2x4's, 4spd, 3.73's & 27x9" street tire. #1 spark plug was not working & I spun the 1st 100ft. Couple weeks later, I tried to do a holeshot in my driveway & broke all body mounts in the trunk. I'm currently installing a cage, various frame supports & notching rear frame & mini tubs & replacing the 327 with a fresh 468 for next year

81Malibag, sounds like she is going to get serious next year. What are going to have for build on your 468?
Pontiac6269, Back when my GN was new I ran it box stock for a couple 13.9s at 98mph. Later I got a threaded waste gate rod so that I could turn up the boost. I put a few ounces of Marvels Mystry oil in a 5 gallon can of Xylene then put it in the tank before filling it with 94 octane Sunoco for a 100 octane mix. All stock yet, we could turn the boost up to 22 or 24 psi ran 13.30s either way. Seems like with the stock turbo etc more boost equaled more heat so it made no more power. Also think it was getting close to pushing the limit of our home brew. Anyway fellow at the track came up looked at my slip and said aint you got no slicks. I said no he said I got some GN wheels with a soft compound recaps if you want to try them. No other changes and it droped to 12.7s at 107. Now with more mods she is still only running 12.4s at 109 but on pumpgas with a methanol/water injection kit. GNs can be fickle but with a scan tool and some patience be very rewarding.
Life is short enjoy your ride. When you turn your car on does she return the favor? Mine's a hybrid burns both gas & rubber.
