Kinda surprised no one mentioned them before. If there was ever a group of dudes that look like they drive Gs it's the guys in Clutch. Pretty sure every song they write is intended to be heard through crappy 6X9s behind the seats of a '79 El Camino.

I remember seeing them on Viva La Bam awhile ago I think they were playing inside of a kids blow up castle or something and I still follow them. Incubus is another great band to listen to while out cruising. Their "Make Yourself" cd was the first cd I ever bought and I still listen to it from start to finish regularly. I listen to more thrash like Pantera now but that cd is amazing. If you havent listened to them before look up the song "The Warmth". Even with some decent quality speakers it pounds!

Agreed incubus is a great band. I haven't followed any of their newer stuff but their older albums Make Yourself, and Morning View were great. Good summertime tunes.

A few from my playlist.

I get in the occasional Melvins rut. They're ramping up for a tour later this year doing 50 states + DC in 51 consecutive nights. I'll be seeing them in PDX on the 18th. Pretty ambitious for a band that's been on tour for 30 years. I'd be tired. They typically play one, 2 hour long continuous song and the lineup continually changes. I've seen them rotate instruments mid-song without quitting and have as many a 5 drummers simultaneously. In the half a dozen times I've seen them over the years they NEVER disappoint. Kind of like seeing Spinal Tap live.
History of bad men:

Why? 'Cuz two drummers is better than one.
