Leather top removal help?

I believe when I removed the half vinyl on my Monte I used Goo Gone and saturated the spots that were not coming off easily but for the most part I did not have much trouble getting it off there was like new paint underneath and if it wasn't for all the trim holes I had to mig up I would have left it for the time being.
I used to own a business that installed and replaced vinyl tops and we always used Prepsol solvent for removing the old glue. It takes a lot of elbow grease but it will come off.
