well i talked to my fiance and she said that she thinks i should do the cutlass right. which means flat black is out of the question. so now i need to decide on a color. what color should i paint this car:

Yeah, None of those are quite attractive IMO. Honestly, with the body lines of the early cars like that ... I really find period correct colors to be awesome, but with some flare added to them.

I think it would look nice to have all the brightwork re-done, some nice black Olds Rally's, and then either painted:

Are you planning on spray painting it or are you just using those colors in the link as a reference?

I see. I was wondering because you had said that you wife told you to do it right. Well all I can say is good luck! I've heard about the roll-on's. 50 bucks sounds good til you go through a couple hundred more in sanding supplies and even more from the band-aids you will need for you bleeding fingertips. :lol: I'm not knocking it but just be prepared.
