. First Dyno run a engine I put togther. I started with a GM Performance HT 383. Added a High Volume oil pump, windage tray and Mildone 7qt oil pan. Comp Cam XR288HR 288/294, Lift .520/.540 Camshaft with GM Performance LS7 lifters. Comp Cam double roller timing chain and .080 thick wall solid push rods. Comp Cam 3 peice timing cover. Up top AFR 1054 210cc CNC ported Aluminum heads. Compression is around 9.5-1. Arp rocker studs and Cam matching springs locks and retainers. Finished off with Comp 1.5 ratio Magnum roller rockers on the Intake side and 1.6 on the Exhaust. That added 10hp on the Dyno. Edelbrock Vic Jr Intake port matched by me. Used all Felpro gaskets and ARP fasteners. SFI Approved Balancer and Flywheel. Spark by MSD billet Dist and wires. For Dyno only I used my Holley 850 HP XP then Later to Terminator EFI. Plan is to add a Pro Charger that's why I kept the Compression low. It Made 490hp at 5,800 rpm and 462 ft lbs of torque at 4,700 rpm on 92 octane fuel and 36 degrees total timing. Thanks for Watching.

Thanks I was so nervous and more Excited I took it home in one Peice.

I would be too, I've seen a few new rebuilds blow up. Yours sounded really good and great numbers on the A/F mixture with that carb.

Yeah me too kinda kept that in the back of my mind. We had to play with it for awile to get it at a safe level. We jumped like 5 numbers on the jets and up a couple sizes on the air bleads. Chuck the Dyno master was in love with that carb.

Hell yeah. Good strong numbers. You're so close to 500hp you can taste it. Lol.
I'm sure it is now with the EFI. We also ran it on the Rich side and kept the timming safe. I ran 110 at the track and more timing and spark.
