Just wondering how many of you are like me that depend on the G body for daily transportation and keep it on the road till the snow arrives. I have my Jeep ready for the winter but I's rather drive my GP no matter how cold it gets as long as there is no snow. My GP is easy to fix and cheaper to repair than the Jeep so I'd rather put the miles on my GP than on the Jeep. What about you guys??

But in all seriousness I haven't had too much expereince with snow. I inderstand wanting to daily drive your G Body over your jeep, but I don't know if I'd want to risk any salt damage happening to it.

I don't drive the GP in any snow and park it when the show arrives....but I have drive a G body in winter, with 4 snow tires, posi and a sand bag over each rear wheel that car would go places the FWD cars got stuck, plus it's fun to drift around corners and the cops can't say anything...:)

This will be my Elk's first winter that it is insured and driveable. I drive it every Tuesday. Luckily we don't get much snow, if at all, here...

I don't really park it, but I don't daily drive it. I drive it as much as I can, as long as the weather cooperates. I don't take it out in the rain normally, nor do I drive it in the snow and salt anymore, but if the roads are clean and dry, I'll drive it in February.

I have driven it through the winter when I needed to, it did perfectly fine, and behaved just fine. No issues as a 17 year old with a mild 403 in the car at the time, never got it stuck, never lost control of it. Like anything, respect it and treat it with care, and most issues can be avoided.
Back then it sat in the driveway when parked, or the street when I was driving it. Now my car enjoys being in a garage year round.
