I've been driving for a while now and it seems the longer I drive the worse other people drive. It's an every day occurrence for me to encounter people who just suck at driving. The don't use turn signals, they drive 10 under the speed limit, they take FOREVER to turn on the rare occasion they do use a turn signal, they pull out in front of me like they're in a hurry and then drive slow as f***, they won't actually "drive" the road they brake at the wrong places, they won't turn right on red, they leave 2 car lengths between their car and the one in front of them at stop lights, they drive 10 under in a 55mph zone but drive 10 over in a 35mph zone like they can only go 45 under any condition and on and on...

All of that gets on my nerves and drives me crazy but the 1 thing I absolutely cannot f***ing stand is when I get behind someone on my road (a little curvy, 2 lane country back road) and they'll be driving along at a reasonable pace (45-55mph) and as soon as I get behind them they slow down to 20mph. They stay that slow and some of them will even try to block me from passing. You know when you're trying to get to work and you're on a schedule it's kinda hard to make it on time when you have to drive under half of the speed you normally do. WTF?!?!?!? What does that prove? Why would you purposefully slow someone down? If you want to drive slow, that's fine but don't hold up traffic. Let me pass.

Anybody?

I drive for a living so welcome to my world on a daily basis.
I feel people nowadays not only do not know the laws of the road but also have no fear of getting pulled over for not using turn signals, improper lane changes, impeding traffic etc.etc.
People will stop and block a lane of moving traffic to turn somewhere because they don't want to be inconvenienced by having to turn around farther ahead.
If I was a Police Officer I could easily give out at least one ticket for a violation every 5 minutes I am on the road and every year it gets worse.
And with all the laws in place it still amazes me how many times I see someone texting and driving.

I have to agree!
People who drive with their high beams ALL the time, Small car drivers who turn like they have 2-45 foot trailers attached.
I also cannot stand the "Traffic Pacers" who will sit in the left lane (aka passing lane) and stay right along side a slower car in the right lane.We have a 45 mph zone I travel daily and speed in the afternoon with great weather is 30 mph at best.
Another "pizzmeoff"... my daily driver is a 2004 F 250 Super Duty extended cab short bed. Why must people always drive between the rear door and rear wheel or better still when I'm pulling a trailer sit between the rear wheel and front axle on the trailer?
I do my best not to be a road rage driver but...DAMN sometimes I would love to shoot the back window out of these a$$hat drivers vehicles!!!!

OK... I'm climbing down from the podium now, Next speaker please!

I know what you mean. I have so much trouble with these idiots and I only drive about 60 miles a day usually. In my opinion, there are a lot of people who have a driver's license that shouldn't.

I am guessing some probably don't. I have seen things where I say to myself how is it possible someone could be that much of an idiot and be behind the wheel of a car.

I hear ya man. It also depends, at least in my experience what kind of car you drive as well. When I had my Regal with the quiet tame V6, people always screwed with me on the road. Cutting me off, not letting me pass (not that I could with that whopping 110 hp, felt more like 80), and just in general being douches. Then when I got my Thunderbird (pictured) NO ONE was within 10 yards of me at any time. It was awesome. If someone did piss me off, I popped it in neutral and let it go pop. The carb was so jacked up if you got on it and let off immediately it would backfire out the exhaust, which by the way was disconnected at the manifolds on both sides due to broken studs so it was basically running open manifolds for the entire time I had it, and it would sound like someone shooting a 22 at you. That got em out of the way for sure. I really miss that car. It was a hoot and a half to drive. Never left me stranded and ran great.

I think people in general, by nature, are just plum stupid. Not to toot my own horn, but I think I'm a pretty damn good driver. I know how to control my car in various weather conditions, I know what to do, what not to do, etc. They should have IQ tests as well as vision and all the other tests to drive. Just because you can memorize the answers like a highschool History test doesn't mean you should be allowed to pilot anything more than a 50cc moped.

Everyone nowadays are in their own little world, texting, tweeting, snappchatting 24/7. Some of them are insane enough to do it while driving. If everyone outright banned the usage of mobile devices while driving, and made it fineable (I think California has this already) there would be less accidents, and less stupidity all around. All this coming from an 18 year old. It's sickening. The other day I saw this fairly attractive woman, mid 20s to early 30s, with THREE kids in the back of her SUV and she was just textin away without a care in the world doing 30mph. Jesus.

I drive a 1500 pickup truck daily. Amazing how moms with kids in the car are texting feverishly in rush-hour traffic or on the highway. And when I honk at them they act like I'm the one who interrupted their texting. Getting worse every year. A lot of it comes back to just lack of respect for basic laws of the road.

This is the most annoying things to me. During rush hour, people will stop in the left lane of a two lane road to turn left consequently making 10s of cars behind them stop. I can't even begin to imagine how many accidents this has caused.
