For a 5000 lb suv with all wheel drive, thats not terrible. Also, thats a gen 1 on the srt grand cherokee, the newer ones are quicker. Also, they go a lot faster with a little work. It's a good car to mess with if you have a need for an suv and want to play.

Here is our TBSS on Drag Week (at 22:05):

Once we got it home it went 11.9@116mph w/1.6 60' at over 5100lbs. Shaved off 7 tenths and gained 8mph with cool air and more boost.

The 3.9 does exactly what it was designed to do, be a replacement for the inline 6 that fits in a shorter engine bay, thats it. It is pretty reliable, but terrible on fuel with no power. Think 307 or 305.
The plenum is an issue, but an easy fix. And yeah, the 5.7's are nice. I know a bunch of people with them.

Those 3.5's are known for oiling issues that lead to valvetrain issues at an early age. They need to be meticulously maintained, just like the 4.7. It's a german motor, maintenance is common there, unlike here.
Are you sure? I thought the 3.5 was Chrysler designed, goes back to the early 90's. My 3.5 also has the cold tick as well. When I do the spark plugs this summer, (which requires removing the plenum) I am filling the cylinders with Kleenflo combustion chamber cleaner and soaking overnight. It freed stuck rings in my Olds 350, hopefully it will work. I also cleaned the PCV to no effect. The power is acceptable, especially on the highway, we got 32 mpg imperial on a long trip. So it is not all bad.

Here is a video that is good for showing the infamous g body frame flex!

nice but that's not body twist, that's the torque planting the rear suspension...I know a friend who has a 74 Chevelle Laguna that he drag races with a nice big big block. He never boxed he frame and now his door alignment is all messed up...

that is fast but I don't follow drag racing though, is 10.693 fast for 1350 hp?

135 mph in the 1/4 is fast for a car with street tires. Maybe not fast for 1350 Hp, but fast enough that it doesn't have to worry about too many other cars touching it on the street.

Cam, intake, carb, and rocker arms are aftermarket.

...on a Motor that never came stock in a G-body Regal....

It isn't like you bought a Stock V8 Regal, bolted on aftermarket Cam, intake, carb, and rocker arms and ran 11.20's. That has never happened, ever.

There are lots of V8's from other cars someone could port the heads and add cam carb, intake, headers, etc. bolt it into a Regal and run 11.20's but I can't think of a G-body regal stock V8 where this is possible. Turbo 6, sure. V8, very tough trick.

In the 1/8th perhaps?

Now I'm in the process of fixing my no traction problem but my 400HP/500lb.ft. BBO 442 gets me 13.4/103 in the 1/4. Traction should get me about a second everything else being equal.

I must be doing something wrong . . .
