Welcome ! Looks like you have a good starting point and it looks likeeverything is there so that's always a plus. Does anyone know what size speakers came in the front doors like he has in the pics or did someone else install those speakers and speaker covers?

I'm installing 4x6 speakers in my front doors and I can't find any with a speaker cover. I don't want anyone kicking the speaker...

Looking for a new floor pan. Also discovered fiber glass panel repair over rust spots. That's always good.

I have a78 el camino and this may sound silly but do they share a floor pan? I ask cause the el camino has the little cubby that goes under the bed behind the seat.

I don't know anything about the stock speakers.

Those guys up north are used to that. Yeah, those floors are pretty crusty.

Yeah it's no big deal. I'm just going to line-x it and it'll be good. lol.
I'm lucky cause I have a close friend who does classics at his personal shop and he is mentoring me. he has everything I'd need and the know how.
I'm pretty sure the el camino floor is a direct replacement so if that's true then I'll cut it out and drop it in the chevelle.

Even though the floor is roached the car has a ton of pro's
It's rare
The body panels are in great shape aside from a small rust spot on the drivers side rear. no rust that trashes body lines .
All the glass is perfect
Titled
Seats are in either good or repairable shape
Rockers are good

All in all it's a perfect mix of work/education without going overboard.
