Looks like the license plate says Pennsylvania, I'd take a very good luck at the frame and underbody for rust.

Yep, I know what to look for. I've seen plenty of rotten cars.

"Some say he actually prefers his cars with downgraded suspension and no AC. All we know is he's called the Stig"

You guys and your a/c. Really I'm just trying to make a fun weekend/nice day car I can take to the drag strip and have fun with.

Price is too high, thanks guys. This one caught my eye. Dat gold paint job

For me, there are things that I would hate about it right away. Minor stuff, but makes me wonder what kind of quality went into the build...painted hood hinges/springs/hood underside (these make it look like an Earl Scheib to me) , universal flex hose on radiator, rally wheels, black headlamp bezels, and the worst of all....fuzzy dice!.

A hood painted underneath is a bad thing? Who knew. But yeah there's some slightly less desirable things on it like that radiator hose, steering wheel, that B&M shifter, and that gauge "pod".

It's hot here in Houston man! Most of the year!

I hear ya. Not so bad in Pittsburgh

and you let us know what you have to combat that heat....:friday:

MADD made us close down all of the drive thru Liquor stores a few years ago. A cold 6 pack in your lap was the A/C substitute back in the day.

Personal preference, I like them black on the bottom on this era of car. HATED the 90s where everybody was painting every little piece the body color...handles, mirrors, bumpers, grilles.

I figured I stepped on enough toes, so I didn't mention some of the things you mentioned. Not that I think they should stay the way GM put them together, but cheap parts look, well, cheap.

I used to do rural delivery for the USPS up there around '98-'02. I'm originally North Side white trash, now between Kittanning & Indiana. Car in the North Hills? Guessing Allegheny Co. with the emmisions sticker.
