That might be the connector for the turn signal switch. Do the wiring colors correspond?

Fixed the issue with hazards going off with lights. Still working on blinker issue. I'm wondering if its the switch. Also does anyone know what Pink, Purple,Green,Gray and white wires go to? No where to connect it. I'm thinking it was for cruise, but idk. Its the connector beside my hand not the one I'm actually holding.. :p Also I pulled my steering wheel I need to replace horn contact piece. I think its called canceling cam am I correct there? Trying to make my way towards getting the beast inspected lol its been a long road.

if you have to change the cancelling cam you might as well change the turn signal switch at the same time. It's not an expensive part and you're are still have a turn signal problem with only one corner that blinks in the hazard mode so it's probably the switch that is defective.

I'll check the fuses again. I don't think this is the original column that was in the car. If that is for the turn signal switch where the hell is it supposed to connect I looked everywhere under the dash. Only problem I'm having now are the blinkers. Hazards work correctly now along with all my lights. Also Its a 81 so my car does have dash wipers, but the lever also had them so makes sense those wires don't connect to anything now.. :p

the switch looks like this so look for this connector, it should be on the top of the column just past the ignition switch i my memory hasn't failed me again

Do these cars use the same flasher for hazards/turn signal? If not I only replaced flasher for hazards and cannot find the one for turn signals I looked under dash and in behind radio/hvac controls.

Two different flashers. Turn signal flasher should be under the dash, just to the left of the radio. From the factory it was clipped to the structure of the dash. It may just be dangling.

Yea Im not finding it I know it'll be pretty hard to get to (seeing it) but I looked everywhere. Do you know what color the wires are going to it? Maybe then I can chase it down. Someone might have cut the damn thing out. I been chasing lots of sliced/spliced wires in this car lol....

Don't know about the buick but my 80 malibu has two places for flasher on fuse block. One on bottom right and one on top left. Was having problems with my turn signals and hazards and replaced both and all bulbs. Fixed my problem. The guys on here will give you some good advice

There is a spot on the fuse block, but its not being used at least now now. There are no connections there.

Mine didn't even have a flasher in one of those spots when I bought it. Added new one to empty spot and new one to other spot. Worked for me. Might be different for you.
