In case anyone's been wondering, Im planning a frame off resto for the frame this summer/fall. I want to box the frame rails and add some major support, paint it and prep for roll cage install. In the mean time I hope I don't destroy the chassis....
Got alot Im going to try and get done today. My firewall kit from gbodyparts.com FINALLY came in yesterday. I hate to talk bad about a company but I refuse to do any further business with them unless its something very hard to find. I ordered the kit on 4/30/17 and got it yesterday on 5/13.... Very poor customer service. I understand its a small company but seriously, 2 days to reply to my email regarding my order?? Yeah no thanks. The firewall kit i got is of really nice quality and everything but dang I hate the wait time. Ive heard some bad things about the company but i still gave them a chance. Maybe they will get their stuff together... Anyway, hoping to sit my car back on all fours today and get it out of the jack stand racing leagues lol
Well got the ole girl off the jack stands today and back on the concrete. Looks good so far. Little bit lower I think all the way around. And will settle out more once its gets some miles on it. I was able to change my front brake pads/hoses, changed front wheel studs. The old studs were too short and I couldnt mount my skinnies on them right.
I was able to get the car running again, and come to find out I dont think it was an injector issue to start with that caused the cylinder flooding. I swapped the injector today and it flooded again on the same cylinder. Now im not 100% sure but I believe its the #4 coil pack dead. Going to grab another from a buddy tomorrow after work and hopefully it works. I unhooked the coil pack and injector for this cylinder and it ran bout as good as ive ever heard 7 cylinders run lol. Will be way better with 8. Found a few slight boost leaks around my couplers that i need to tighten up. So as long as the new coil pack fixes my problem things will be going smoother from now on.

Come to the conclusion that it was my pcm bad. Injector driver I think. Going to try it out tonight and see what happens with a new pcm from the junkyard... Wish me luck
Well...the new pcm works fine. The reason I needed a new pcm is because i made a boo boo. Carelessly drilled a couple holes remounting my trans cooler and pierced the case, and the pcm board nearly clean thru. So todays lesson kids...dont be like me and always check whats behind something your drilling into lmao
Glad to see you got the issue figured out and fixed. How's it run now, or have you tested it yet?
