2017 Hotrod Power Tour

I was wondering if anyone was going on the Power Tour? It is going through the Midwest this year. I plan to go to Newton Iowa on the 11 for the day and check it out. If I knew it was this close to home a little sooner I would have done the tour. I would like to meet some of you guy's and girls if you would want to.

The Power Tour is on my rodder bucket list. Sadly, I havent done it yet.

The plan is for us to take Dad's 62 Galaxie and Sean's 78 Camaro on the entire thing next year. There's a slim chance the GP might make it but I doubt it right now.

zach, i'll be there with my 66 belair wagon project i just got running this spring. my son and i will start in k.c, stop in newton and quad cities. we're also doing the petty experience in k.c when we're there.
i wanted to do the long haul, but didn't like the middle part of the tour. as well as having to beat cheeks back home from bowling green.
its a great time. i did three legs of it in 2013 with my '57 olds, had a blast. think "run to the woods".
hope to see you there, love to see the mods you've done to the monte.

Maybe we can meet up and shoot the crap a little. Lindsey not coming and Sam may or may not go. She is 7 months prego and could care less about cars. Haven't heard anything about the 66 yet. I would like to see that.

I was hoping we could group up some how and park together. I don't know if that is possible. With 6000 cars we may never see each other.

Hopefully I will take my 2+2 down on Sunday. Its a little under 2hrs so it will be a trial by fire haha.
