watch out how much lime you put in the ceviche ha ha you deserve it enjoy the yellow I am jealous glad the battle is going better chef Jeff from Winnipeg
Fresh fish is one of the only perks of living at the Jersey shore and it doesn't hurt that my bosses have a private charter boat lol the painter at work is one of the owners and has a hundred ton Captain's license so it's kinda normal. My first job I was 9 and bait boy on a lobster boat if only I was a better cook. I can run my smoker tho!

Well not only did I ruin the tuna my car sucks to!
Came home today and decided to try and get the brakes working right rear bleeder is broaken off so I bled it at the line left rear no problem right front was clogged took it out and drilled it. Left front rounded smooth out. Got it loose tho beating a pair of vice grips with a body hammer. I let it bleed wile I ran to the store for a new bleeder and Bam the brakes work....sub par but work next I got back under the hood hooked up the trans vacuum and filled the trans topped off the leaky cooling system and tried to road test it. That's when things got ugly.

Under a load it would not expect fuel it was powerless pooping threw the carb spitting and stalling I literally only got 2 houses away and turned around. Once I had it back in the driveway I decided to take the carb to that builder this Saturday so I ripped it off and put that carb on that came off of my 87 Cutlass when it had a 307 because I know it never had this poisonous new fuel in it. Well it ran better with that one so I topped off the fluids again and out the driveway I went up the road. Well in the first 20' I new it was bad because it felt like there was a brick under the go petle. I stayed in it anyway because my hole point was dose it shift? Well it dose not up the hill on it's own nothing until I got up to speed then it neutraled so I spun around to come back. When I did I held my gutless wonder in first gear until it finally reved up and shifted second manually. It went it well slid in like a 40yo POS I kept it on the floor and went for third drum roll pleas.....neutral! No 2-3 I let out of it and it stalled coasted hone down the hill and back in the driveway.once home I fired it back up and checked the fluids again everything is full and now it has more rockers tapping. I could take a torch to it and make a nice low mileage carbq I could do a hole hog were the front seat it and make the trunk a fire box probably have it done in a day

Guys I had enough. All day at work I contemplated everything that's taken place before I joined this forum mom was alive and I was putting my efforts twords building a truck to open a bisness with.now 4 months later I can't help but think that this car has become a burden and a head ake. I thaught maybe I'll feel better watching it flattened at the local scrap yard but then it wins it beat me....hell no! Maybe I'll drive it threw the trans guy's house...,. No then the libs put me in jail. Then I think back on the build and feal damn epic fail! I missed every deadline set for the car, the memorial service, the show my mother wanted it to go to with the kids not to mention the time fuel and money being hemorrhaged. Then I go back to to it's demise and I just can't.... I have a bisness plan that needs to be carried out over the next few months to set me free from my work hell so my conclusion is that the car needs to wait for a while so I can take care of some other things before the snow starts flying and I end up staying a slave another year. I'm not going to sweet it life is to short I won't be able to enjoy it with the kids this summer but it just wasn't mentioned to be so it's going out back in the weeds until my life allows me do do it right I'll still be posting on my non g-body as it's part of my plan and I won't crush the Cutlass but if I see the trans guy..... I'll probably catch a case

Oh well keep the thred alive some day the car will get done just not now

Gotta do what you gotta do. Just hang on to her and when you get things worked out for your business etc, jump back on it and show it who the boss is.

Sometimes you have to walk away from it for a little bit to clear you head. I am sure you head is spinning with everything you are thinking, as I know the feeling. Hang in there!

Just give it some time.

Things like this happen all the time when piecing together cars.

Just look at what happened with HAFROD's car all that time and $$$ then breaks the trans and smashes the bumper.
