ive tried everything to kill this popping in my speakers coming from my ignition system including all new ignition components (plugs, wires, cap, and rotor, coil....no cheap stuff....), butt loads of grounds placed here and there, radio noise filter, ignition box noise filter capacitor from msd, wired my radio directly to the battery, tried different radios, took belt off and disconnected everything but the radio and ignition system. the only thing i havent tried is wrapping my entire engine with aluminum foil and getting me some damn bluetooth speakers to ride around with. if anyone knows a wizard or automotive master of the arcane arts that does service calls please let me know, otherwise any input would be greatly appreciated.

Disconnect all the speakers and connect one speaker at a time to see if one of the speakers or their wiring is causing the problem

What kind of noise is it? Spark plug interference or turn on/off pop? Amplifiers involved? Is the radio grounded to clean chassis?
The battery is the main noise filter in the electrical system. How "good" is It? Clean grounds there?

I'll give it a try, doesn't do it when the car isn't running so I'm pretty sure it's from the ignition but I'll try anything at this point

Battery, terminals, and cablesare new, no amps, wired radio straight to the battery and it still does it. it clears up a bit at higher rpm but it's really distorted under 2k rpm

This all started with the installation of a crate vortec 350 back in May. I put some ac Delco 41-902 plugs in it but the rest of the ignition system was pretty fresh so I kept all of it. I had to wire it up for an electric fuel pump and relay, and I cleaned up the wiring under the hood but it was pretty much unchanged other than some re-routing. It's sounded garbled since then and gets worse everytime I change an ignition component.

Something isn't grounded right. Do you have the coil strap and ground (assuming HEI)?
It only seems to go away higher rpm because the frequency increases.

I buffed the corner of the coil and ran a couple grounds directly to the coil, also if I get my power probe within a foot or so of the coil it freaks out, lights blink and all that
