It looks to be in good condition overall. I'm sure by selling the wheels you'd be able to recoup a portion of the price. I'm also wondering why he has the gauge bezel off. Perhaps something else he hasn't mentioned?

It looks like a clean car but I always question when someone puts doesn't run and needs starter, battery, alternator etc.
If it truly does run and does only need say a starter, replacing it and selling it as a running car would be a large increase in the cars value over one that does not run.
Also needing a brake line tells me it possibly rusted out, so what else is on the verge of rusting out under there.
I think he got a fair price for it.

Sounds like a bunch wrong with it so the price might be on the mark? Not sure? 180,000 miles, does not run, needs a few things. Could be more needed if you dig deeper. Motor and transmission a big question mark. Might get some money selling rims and tires but unless you have parts and motors hanging around, could be a money pit. From the pics the body looks good. Seems like a fair price as others have mentioned.

It does look like a nice clean, solid car, but I suspect a laundry list of problems with it that haven't been mentioned. I think the price is somewhat fair providing the car is solid with no rust issues.

Darrin,
That could be the tip of the proverbial iceberg.

Brian,
I also noticed the GA tag and the car is listed in Texas. I wonder what the story is about that.

See it a lot around here, big Tinker AFB, all kinds of out of state plates...not so sure about Dallas, though....least not when I was there.
