So, hello everyone! I'm new to the forum, since I recently obtained a 1978 Grand LeMans (hence the totally original ID) with a 305, and its almost fully loaded... but its still missing a couple options that I'd like, and others that just need to be replaced. It's all minor trim, but hey, attention to detail. Please excuse any of my incompetencies, I'm new to A/G-Bodies.

EDIT: Leaving the original post so anyone in the future finding this thread can make sense of replies, but changing what I'm still looking for:
Where a right side chrome mirror, OEM or reproduction, or a very similar looking mirror, can be found for preferably less than $50. Basically as cheap as a quality product can get, as I don't really want to put a fortune into trim that I don't necessarily need,
And to anyone who owns or knows about X-bodies; will an X-body trunk lock cover work fine on a G-body?

ORIGINAL POST:
So here's what I'm looking for (That I haven't already found):
The "PONTIAC" name script on the nose, as I literally cannot find a single letter anywhere. Is it better to just have them made, or does someone know where I can source them?
The RH side chrome mirror; Are there any models that these are shared with? Nothing shows up when you search for LeMans mirrors specifically, but I always get hits for Firebirds, El Caminos, and Malibus of the same vintage.
And finally, a probably dumb question: Are the trunk lock covers (the uppermost piece that actually flips) and the center hood ornament pieces the same part? I'm assuming no, but hoping yes haha, ornaments are all over eBay cheap if so.

Please note I'm not actually buying any of these now, probably in the next couple months. I'm just trying to find where I can find this stuff.
Thanks in advance!

Sadly, that's the wrong part, as I found the same lot while searching. The 1978-1980 LeMans and Grand LeMans had 7 individual letters on the header, as in the image below. They switched to that single script emblem in 1981.

EDIT: And I've actually got another question: Would the trunk lock cover from a Pontiac 6000 fit fine? I'd imagine it would, and it looks better than the original imo (Plus there's more than just ONE for sale on the internet, and it's not $130...) http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-5...0001&campid=5335822911&icep_item=272758722463

I just removed the trunk lock cover from my '80 Lemans. I'd consider selling it if you need it. Would be considerably less than $130 too! I can find it and check condition if you're interested. Shoot me a PM if you are.

My car was a Grand too, but I'm de-chroming it some. I have the front letters too, but not sure if I'm putting them back on yet. I'm surprised your car has chrome mirrors. Mine has the painted "bullet" style sport mirrors. I thought they would have been standard on a Grand.

Yeah, not sure why it doesn't have the sport mirrors. I personally prefer them, but the car isn't factory color, and I don't want to end up having to repaint everything, so I figured to just go with the second chrome mirror instead. And thanks for the offer on the trunk lock cover as well! I might remove the chrome trim on the hood... the missing ornament and tarnished trim doesn't look the greatest lol.

that trunk lock is a tricky little b*st*rd. I've been trying to keep an eye out on a decent one for my GP since its all faded and junk. I don't think the X body cover will work, I can't find it in the book . I know the B-body one is different, I have looked that one up. I did find these which might help....

Would love to see some pictures of your lemans. What's your plans for the car?
I'll post some pictures later on once I'm home from work, but as for plans, the car is going to be left mostly as-is. The radiator needs to be replaced, so while that's out today I'm going to be replacing the arrowhead with a fresh one from Goodmark, and, unless the previous owner didn't remove them when the car was painted, pitch the letters along with the hood trim. Essentially, I'm half de-chroming it, but otherwise leaving it stock. Inside, the only thing being changed is swapping the original radio with a DIN one with a bit of modding.

Also, found this while looking for a passenger mirror to match the driver's mirror. Is this (at least almost) the same mirror? I really don't have an eye for these things lol. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/cip-18000/overview/

I just saw your post about not being able to find the single letters on the header panel....I know where there is a car with them on...

This car is located about an hour away from me and oddly they are not open on Saturdays. I started a new job about a month ago so not sure when I might be able to take a day and head there. I do have a few parts to go for so maybe I'll start quizzing my new boss.
