Olds VIN 9 Exhaust Down-Pipe

Hope everyone is doing okay.

I've searched the web but I'm having trouble finding the walker part number for an Olds VIN 9 exhaust down-pipe. Maybe I'm using the wrong name but I can't find what I'm looking for. I know that lots of these parts are becoming like hens teeth these days. The exhaust pipe that I'm looking for is the pipe that connects between the manifold and the cat. The one walker part number that I've found is 41381 but I don't think that it's the driod that I'm looking for. Can someone provide the Walker part number? Thanks.

and a wild guess here , I searched Rockauto and no luck. Google up Walker's web site .no part number listed for that part.

and just for the fun of it , I searched the walker web site again but using a Vin Y the 307 with single exhaust.............what would be different from the passenger side exhaust manifold to the cat ?

and got these 2 part numbers 36463 & 31511 ....why 2 ? no idea..

Thanks for the part numbers. I've already seen those part numbers, but they are not the part numbers for the down-pipe.

Another question I have is with regards to the exhaust manifolds. I'm wondering what year Olds switched over to the stainless steel log style exhaust manifolds from the cast-iron ones. I'm also wondering if the alignment of the output ports are the same between the two styles of exhaust manifolds. And will the stock crossover pipe and downpipe work with. Both styles of manifolds.

I believe 85 was the first year they used the stainless manifolds, appeared with the swirl port heads. The crossover and down pipe should be the same. Try the part number 35337.

Walker 35337 lists as an exhaust clamp..

Your right Frank. It should be 41248. This is going off the big car number but should be the same. I can't find the pic of the Vin 9 exhaust. What car is this going on?

This is for my nice weather weekend cruiser SBO powered Regal that I've been with since the eighties.

My ten year old crusty budget exhaust needs replacing. I'm contemplating either installing an off the shelf Olds 442 exhaust or just bringing the car to a local custom exhaust shop. My goal here with either approach is to have a factory style of dual exhaust.

I've put together a parts list for a walker replacement Olds 442 exhaust but I'm still thinking about the down-pipe area of the exhaust. It looks like I will still need to hack something together in the down-pipe area because of not being able to locate the factory down-pipe with the square flange.

With all of this in mind, I know that the factory style of exhaust is more restrictive as far a flow but this car isn't going to see any track time and will be just fine for cruising around.
