Finally bought the car of my dreams even though i owned a 2012 Camaro, The nostalgia alone tops that car.

car seems 100% perfect except

The T-top Roof Header Panel is completely rusted out

I brought this part brand new but all body shops are saying the rust is under that also and wouldn't help much, ANY HELP?

You may have to find a donor T-top roof and swap them out. That rust is pretty bad and may travel down the A pillars a few inches. It all depends on what you have available in your area but if you are able to find a usable T-top roof that has been cut properly, it may be cheaper for a body shop to install it than the patch panel that you have.

welcome to the club !

I sure that GBody Parts sells repro A pillars as well for this reason.

Now I am not a bodyman ( at all ) But I would search you tube for a video of this process , and talk to Gbody parts to see if they have any shops will experience with this repair.

no idea what part of States your in , but I would search out a restoration shop and not a collision repair shop for this repair.

I am sure a new windshield will be required & a hand full of trim clips will be required.

there was ( is) a review on one the turbo Buick sites on a prototype's install of this part....it was very positive.

just my 2 cents

Welcome to the forum, I agree with wageslave to find a donor t-top. Who owns that convertible Skylark in the background, it looks like a 68 or 69

Welcome to the forum. That's a really good looking SS, it's a shame it has so much rust in the roof and A pillars. There have been members on here who have repaired rust like that before. Do some looking around on here and you're sure to find a thread that covers the repair. I can't think of any of the threads right now. Sorry I couldn't be more help. Hopefully someone else will be able to point you in the right direction.
