Can't wait for him to **** it up.

I'm friends with the wildman that bought the Monster Garage Hot Rod lincoln Jesse built for Open Road racing out of a '62 Lincoln and a NASCAR car. i think he paid $9K for it. It would be hard for someone to buy another car for $9K and have that much fun with it.

Somebody said Jesse was going to built the 2+2 for the Texas Mile. In order to even be noticed at the Texas Mile you need 1200 HP, so Twin Turbo LS would be my guess.

I appreciate his passion and skill set. Art is subjective.

His Viper build was pretty incredible.

The "Fake Drama" stuff had to tear him up inside. He was all about old school and "real" and building art with your hands and not scripted "reality" TV. He moved to the Austin, Texas area and Dripping Springs is about as far away from LA as you can get.

He does make some pretty cool guns and even if they aren't my style, I can appreciate the talent that went into them. There is no denying the guy has skills.

Guy has more skills than most have forgot, been following him since his beginnings and his metal work is unbelievable. Maybe he gets hooked on G-bodies and buys Lauren Engineering to reproduce the stuff people really need. It may not be some people's style but his Cutlass was clean. If you are a gun guy check out his firearm work, especially his forged Damascus .45's.

Lauren is really all there ever was. Phoenix Graphics had strip kits, but for parts, used
I always wanted to use Laurens Engineering's 2 + 2 nose conversion on a clean non vinyl top GP but it never happened and with Lauren out of business I guess it never will, I thought there might be someone else making parts for these.

It will be interesting to see what he does to the 2+2. Hopefully, he'll join our group and keep us up to date. His work has always been of high quality, and his creativity level was always above par. The Monster Garage stuff was pretty hokey, but as UNGN said, deep down he's a true old school hotrodder. I did enjoy the build he did with some of the legendary customizers. That was my favorite show.
