Headers for an 84
I eventually want to put headers on my 1984 Conquista. It has a 305 with air conditioning. I want to go with ceramic-coated or stainless steel. Does anyone who has done this tell me which ones will fit without too many problems (part no.s etc. from the major vendors). As always any help will be appreciated.

I have a 1981 El Camino SS with a 290 HP 350 and it has air. I have a set of FlowTech "shorty" headers on mine. I had my cross member modified by the exhaust shop .So I can run true 2 1/4 exhaust .With Flowmaster 3 chamber and comes out right behind the rear wheels

I put hedman model no.68600 headers on mine -but they are black. you will have to modify the old pressure senor, driversside back of block, because it sticks out to far, i modifed one off a GM v6 engine, same thread-shorter body, header misses by 20mm, plus with the instructions hedman shows you how to modify the existing aircon support bracket-very helpfull

Flowmeter didn't work. Hooker was a real PIA. 2 Bolts didn't clear THE tubes workout beating THE tubes and forcing the bolts in the header then getting those started before the rest. I have a 79 Elco 350
