Any know what options I have to find a trunk carpet? G bodies in the yard are pretty limited around here so is there any other vehicle with trunk carpet that works...:)

Thanks

Can you get Mike's Montes to ship to you there in Ontario??? If so.....here's something that won't break the bank. And sure a lot better than used and beat up.

Thanks for the heads up, they have 2 ways USPS priority international which is as much as the part and UPS which I refuse to deal with. I sent them a email so see if there is any other courier they could use.

Are you looking for new or a really nice used? I'm sure people have them used

used would be fine, I'll get a new one just before it goes to Barret Jackson so it will be numbers matching....

I know they are pretty hard to come by. but what about a Cadillac Seville?

They are somewhat similar.

I often wondered if the rear door/window motors would work in a GBody

Unlike the interior carpet, the trunk one isn't molded to the floor - when removed it's perfectly flat. There also isn't anything special about it. Earlier years were black with about felt like backing. Once you got to say, 84-85 they started being foam backed - said foam degrading worse than the junk behind the headliner and really making about royal mess when removing.

I suppose one of us could dig up some nice used (I'd have got you one but I just packed much if my parts back into storage with the move) or if needed, maybe about template? It's pretty straight forward if you wanted to cut one to fit though, doubt you'd need one.

You could, if wanted, buy a roll of the generic flat carpet like auto parts stores sell and simply cut to fit.

GM got smarter in the later years though. Somewhere in the shop rolled up in boxes...….and I don't know where...….I have some of the last designs GM had for the G-body trunk liner for buying over the counter parts. At least I think I do. They had the fiber black mat on top like normal, but there was a bit denser and more rubbery like material underneath. Can't see it once it's installed, but it is 5000 times better than that foam backed crap that turns into black gooey boogers that get everywhere.

I bought the trunk carpet from Mike's Montes for both my 86' Regal and the 85' blue Regal that I sold.
It is just a flat piece that is cut out for the spare tire well but lays in there decent enough.
