Great job. Although I think I'll sit this one out.

Save your money, leave a dead horse be...
There are a zillion FB Olds groups and Classicoldsmobile pretty much has that genre covered... Realoldspower if you want to talk high performance on a forum but again everyone has pretty much moved to FB and ROP and CO are pretty slow as a result.
I think this is the only forum out there with any traffic really... many have died a slow death.

Anyone know what happened to all the "data" that was on 442.com? If you could get your hands on that and include it that would be awesome. I actually think I printed the "tech pages" out once and likely still have it somewhere? We have moved since so no promises. But, if I found it and scanned it all, is there actually a word recognition SW good enough that could re-ascii it from scanned pages?

We have moved since then. Don't recall if they had it copyrighted or if you even can legally copyright technical specs? If they did have it copyrighted, I'm surprised big brother isn't knocking on my door already, you know, since I think I printed it and all . . .??
It's all on Classicoldsmobile's site now.

FB? So that's where all the ROP *ssh*les went? Granted, there were some knowledgeable and decent people there, but for some reason there were quite a few that always thought they could act like *ssh*les there without checks or balances. Never cared for that environment.

I don't really do FB so I don't care (I used to mainly to keep in touch with family until my dad passed). I don't do Twitter, or all that other useless social media so I don't care about that, either. Gbodyforum.com is all I need.

Pretty Please! ROP is brutal, I don't need Asshat's attacking me with every question. Classic Olds can be snobish at times. This place is good but I am Olds V8 centric, 403 and down especially. If I wanted a LS V8, I would buy a new Camaro. The automatic go LS to pep up a Cutlass is like nails on a chalkboard for me and happens a lot here, signs of the times I guess.

Quoted for truth. Why is it always a Cutlass?! Did they make that many more of them, or something? They seem to outnumber Montes 10:1.

Olds sold a lot cars back then, the reliability of the Olds V8 no doubt helped them sell so many cars.
