Looks like permanent magnet but what are you trying to accomplish by a remote solenoid?

Id like to clean up the wiring , melted, and with the headers its just hard to use a remote start switch to run the valves. But if it is a permanent magnet i know i cant use the ford solinoid.

I have a remote solenoid and hard wired push button weatherproof switches on each fender for adjusting the valves on my solid roller.
The toggle switch on the fender turns on my underhood lights.

Is yours a permant magnet starter. As i understand they cant use a remote solinoid due to run on. I dont really want to buy a new starter right now, but not even sure its a magnet style. Not sure how to tell
