so got to run on a dyno at work and honestly drive train and accessory power loss is a hell of a disappointment im putting 255 at the wheels so this motor is getting pulled in the winter/spring and getting stroked and punched out.

Kinda called a reality check. I know so many guys that take their cars to the track thinking they really something only to find out different. Your getting about 320 at the crank and that engine is rated around 375 so there should be a little more in it.

not sure if your being nice or a dick there to be honest, but its more than 320 crank as drivetrain loss is around 20 percent for me and with all the accessories including ac id say about 10 percent and with my wheel hp numbers its right about 370 crank, right at what the manufacturer quotes but i forgot to ask before i ordered my motor i didn't think about that so were gonna stroke out the 350.

Not trying to be either but have been called a dick more than once. I was using the racing formulas to convert wheel HP to crank HP. There is a lot more in that 350 - both of mine have 350's

fair enough, i know ur right, i bout a crate engine built by atk made to a price point if i had to do it again i wouldn't, but i did, so a stroker kit a cam and a intake more suited to my expectations are in the future but i need to figure out everything first since i went all smoke the credit card and ask questions later the first time.

its time to start the search on craigslist for a clapped out g-body or a decent priced frame i want to get the hellwig kit to totally box the frame and add a few more reinforcements so i can just swap suspension replace the body bushings and put it all back together. any one have a opinion about doing all the body bushings in poly on a street car?

Poly body bushings will be fine on the street, especially if you're trying to stiffen everything up. My Cutlass has prothane poly bushings, and even though it only has a few miles on it I like the ride better than the rubber bushings!!!

Since it seems i can't even stop myself from replacing parts that aren't broken i ordered the welded aluminum overflow tank. also ordered a new open top air cleaner from s&b to pass thru my cowl hood an make that functional, honestly even if it didn't make the hood functional it would still look cooler than either of the stock air boxes i had ontop the fitech and with this not being a drop base you will be able to see the fitech with the hood popped. disregard the nickelodeon slime when you have kids weird sh*t is always in the background that you don't notice till you go to post it to a forum.

after working with ray over at eagle, gonne do their 395 stroker kit and the armor coating with all forged guts so i can wing this thing out and not worry about it.
cause if there's one thing i've learned in life it's adding displacement equals happiness, i've never seen a sad person driving something the size of a big block.
