Cloyes vs Milodon vs other timing chains

Just wondering what everyone's preference is in terms of replacement timing chains?

I've been told to stick with Sealed Power or Cloyes, but I've been looking at Milodon as being a true roller design, holding up to many miles/abuse with no stretching.

Cloyes Billet, 9 way adjustable, very good for degreeing the cam, which should be done, even on a stock build. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/clo-9-3513x9/
I used the now discontinued Cloyes Street Roller last build, the chain fit sloppy and was only 3 way adjustable. I am glad they discontinued it.

Cloyes, been using them for years with no issues on a stock to mild build. Street and track , true roller billet.

I use the cloyes billet race roller chains in my engines. They make them with 3 positions or 9.

It doesn't seem like with Oldsmobiles there's any problems with additional chain width as opposed to other engines, like SBC's where you would need an aftermarket timing cover for clearance?

Not so much a preference but what your doing with it. Any kind of performance use a billet .

If you are doing that you should do the water pump as well since it is apart I highly suggest you get the

GMB High Performance Water Pump 130-1260P

If you do get this pump you MUST use Gates lower hose 21143

I found that Gates is the only one that makes the correct size inside diameter hose that correctly fits.

Other companys use the same part number for the same application but have the wrong size diameter.
