I read in several closed post from around 2016 (using the search function) you use f body pedals in the g body for manual transmission swaps. I am about to do this in my 88 month carlo with a t56 and third generation pedals. What work so I need to do to these pedals to make them work?

Any pictures, advice, explanations, links or wisdom would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance, Michael

I'm not sure about the FBody pedals but I did use an FBody clutch master

SickSpeedMonte makes a great pedal setup that is a direct bolt in for a good price

I have seen that also and using a master/slave hydraulic clutch cylinder. I went with the regular pedals and a manual clutch when I put my Muncie in. The pedals fit nicely and there is a couple options for the clutch fork. The holes on my 82 El C were drilled for the bell crank so you may want to look at your frame. If not drilled the F Body stuff may be way to go

Turna, 300 is not too terrible. I do like that it provides a reinforced location for the master cylinder. I'm curious on how to combine the G body upper bracket and the F body pedals as i read in other threads.

Greg, this will be hudraulic so I only need the firewall holes, nothing frame side.

I used the G body pedals and the G body pedal housing and cut the brake pedal pad for a 3 pedal car. I used the bolt from the 3rd gen F body pedal housing to hang the F body clutch pedal. For the clutch pedal I cut it and added 3/4" to it and positioned it so it would sit closer to me so I could slide my foot behind it cruising down the highway. I used the F body master and you need to put a doubler on the firewall or the firewall with crack. If you are going to use a hydraulic throw out bearing you wil need to put a stop for the pedal so you do not overtravel and damage the throw out bearing. I used an appliance adjuster with a nut on each side of the firewall for a pedal stop.

The standard shift is worth the effort to me as long as it is not a daily driver. Driving the El C brings out the kid in me:)

I used third gen camaro clutch pedal, what I did was grind off the camaro clutch pedal assembly, and welded it to the automatic pedals and then swapped the camaro brake pedal arm over to the original pedal as well since the pad is smaller. Used third gen clutch master and slave cylinder with custom braided clutch line. But I’m running world class T 5 . You running a t56 would be internal slave but same other stuff.
