Is this business legit? I’ve ordered several hundred dollars from them and my order is screwed up. There’s no 800 number to call and ask only email. The email responses are in Ebonics and make absolutely no sense. They just tell me to reuse my old pieces???? What???? I’ve got thousand of dollars in interior parts I want to order but am not feeling like this is the right place to use? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If the search button works here, try it. Do a search. Do a google search too. You might not be surprised.

Best I've been able to tell, they're hit and miss. My own personal experience even varies. One time, no problems with the order. And then it began. Subsequent orders were late, stuff on back order, won't send until everything is available, blah blah. Got every excuse in the book as to why this or that was whacked and the blame game (not toward me) commenced. They need a course or two in customer relations, and shouldn't continue to be combative toward customers just trying to get the parts they want/need. Luckily I was able to return the wrong stuff that came and it wasn't the worst experience ever, but if I ever do it again, I'll order one part at a time and make damn sure I can't find it anywhere else first. IMO, they try, but not very hard. I got the feeling coming away was that they were doing ME a favor by selling me stuff.

That was exactly how I felt. They have an amazing amount of parts but not very customer service oriented. I appreciate the info and may have to only use as a last resort. 🤦‍♂️

Mike's Montes, Dixie Restoration, Classic Industries, Stock Interiors, or Kirban Performance for sure! GBody Parts as a last resort ONLY!

You can just tell by the answers....

https://www.bbb.org/us/nc/bethel/profile/new-auto-parts/gbodypartscom-0593-90174960/complaints

But wait, there's more....

https://www.revdex.com/reviews/gbodypartscom/1937063

One of these responses was funny to me. (paraphrasing all this) "***" signed for my return part but still no refund." The Response? "***" hasn't worked here since August, so I don't see how they could have signed for it."

Well- that leads me to believe GBP response is BS since how would the customer even KNOW the guy's name unless he or someone using his name representing the company signed for it. GBP just verified it was a guy who works or worked there. And so it goes. Buyer beware.

Any normal person would get the idea....each song has a familiar tune.

This ain't aimed at trashing them, but HOPEFULLY these sort of events might make someone realize that their business model needs a little help in the customer relations area. If they're too blind or want to provide more excuses instead of trying to make it a better customer experience, then eventually the cracks widen and the business will fail earlier than it should. It's simple business procedure here.

OPGI is another. Pricy but they got a alot of parts.
Sometimes it's worth paying a little more to have peace of mind. Not saying OPGI is good or bad, it's just that price shouldn't ALWAYS be the only factor driving a purchase. JMO. Is it worth a few pennies more to make sure it's right the first time? Time is money. Wasting time costs you money. Buying something twice costs you twice as much time or more.

Of course there's always the old, "paying twice as much for something half as good". Nobody ever wants to do that.

Good luck out there buying parts.

Wellston, OK
I've never bought from them, and the online feedback on various forums helped me make that decision

When I first got my Regal going on 7 years ago, I placed quite a few orders to G Body Parts because at the time they had by far the largest selection (that I was aware of) of reproduction G Body stuff. OPGI didn't even have a G Body catalog, neither did Classic Industries, Kirban dealt in Turbo Regals almost exclusively, and I wasn't aware of Mike's Montes or Dixie MC. I never had any issues and Brian Weaver used to post here all the time as did Toby Pawlaczyk so if you had an issue you could PM either of them and it was quickly resolved.

Then I got busy with some other projects and ended up taking a 2 or 3 year hiatus from my Regal and I was sparsely logged on to GBF. And apparently in that amount of time, things changed drastically, because ever since, I've heard of tons of order issues with GBP to the point people are questioning if it's even a legitimate business and we never hear from Brian Weaver or Toby Pawlaczyk anymore. I believe there was some drama that went down that I don't know or care to know the details of, but whatever occurred seems to have affected their business, at least from my observations. I haven't placed an order to GBP since then, for a number of reasons, the numerous complaints being one of them. Most of their stuff I've been able to buy cheaper elsewhere being another.

Unless I start hearing better things about them, I probably won't order from them again. There's no real reason to with the huge increase in G Body aftermarket support from other vendors.
