Progress! I ended up with the day off yesterday because I spoda br plowing snow (didn't happen). So, I went to Home Depot, and got some sharp router bits. Cut 2 filler rings out.

Then disassembled the bezel

And, sliced the ever-livin-FVCK out my finger making the pattern

That is all for now...

Forget the finger get some Krazy glue and get back to that dash! Lol are you mounting the filler to the cluster or the face? Looks good by the way ...not the finger

Got the template made for the HVAC/ radio filler. I got 1/2" MDF, now that looks too thick; might have to go 1/4.
Clutch, the fillers will be behind the veneered aluminum- woodgrain forever!

And, as mentioned in the other thread, wired up the trunk release button that hasn't been done since the swap.

3/8 Bruce, 3/8!

Of course, even our plywood is all metric now . . .

Made a control panel for some switching on my solar when I installed it [back 4 years ago when I could still do stuff - oh I have pictures!] that I thought 1/4" would be plenty stout enough? Nope, Garth got to do that twice too . . .
