Even the older spoilers fx/ Lauren engineering stage 2 ground effects were good from far, but far from great. Instructions were to tape vehicle, apply body filler where they meet , & push into place to adjust fit. Outer surfaces were very wavy before lots of block sanding & filling.
This is the norm for even many decent fiberglass products. But if you can't make your own from steel, then what other choices are there? But even a not so great fiberglass product can be made much better with good ole bodywork skill. Can still be better than starting from scratch.

I totally intended on having to do some work and knew they wouldn't come ready to paint. I have done body work for 30 plus years. The point was they cost me $400 and the only way I would have keep them is if they where free. I could have cut them apart and started over but not at $400

I have the Lauren parts on my Monte and even though they weren't a perfect fit the work to make them fit was minimal.

U can still find them. I'm purchasing 1 from Dixie Restoration, they have all 3 stages.
Do you have a current listing showing them with pricing? Anything made by Lauren Eng. has been discontinued.

I didnt see anything on there website. How long ago did you purchase from them? OPGI had all three stages in their catalog but when you put them in your cart it said no longer available. Now there gone in the 2019 catalog.

I just got the OPGI 2019 catalog & all the aftermarket ground effects, spoilers, bumper covers, nose kits & the bolt on hood scoop are gone. The only plastic/'glass left is the MCSS nose, nose deflector/spoiler, rear plate pocket, El Camino/Malibu bumper fillers (except wagon), '82 up header panel, rear plate pocket & filler. It really thinned the body parts section in the catalog.

Who’s catalog are you referring to?
