Warning: Just leave your stock factory G body brake hose brackets installed. The Blazer brackets contacted my 15" wheels at close to full steering lock! I re-installed the G Body Brackets and problem solved!

I think you are the only one that ever had that issue.

What is your wheel backspace?

Will hose brackets from a 4WD Blazer work? The brake set I bought did not have the frame hose brackets, and 2WD Blazers are scarce in my area. None of the local junkyards have 2WD models.

I believe so as long as they point downward like in my picture

I have done this conversion.
1. The same year Blazer 2 wheel Drive brake hoses are a direct fit, no mods required. NO adapters or brackets needed. I have pics picture if anyone say other wise.
2. The dust shields are not needed. At first I did not have them and everything fit. I decided to buy new ones at Rock Auto and put them in strictly for appearance sake.
3. Rears done too w/ F Body Disk Brake proportioning valve (2002 Camaro Brakes)

At first I had a bit of a clearance issue turning the wheels to lock on one side. I also used the Blazer hose brackets. I had to bend them in a bit to make sure they fit right against the frame. I also used the braided Russell brake hoses which are thinner than the Blazer or G-body hoses. They seem to conform well, but I'm not thrilled with their fittings. The stock Blazer fittings seem to feature a lock system (against the caliper) that helps retain them from turning.
One bracket scraped against the tire. No clearance issues with my 15" steel rims.

I have this on both my Malibu and Cutlass with zero issues

Just wanted to clarify my statement: The blazer bracket contacted the side wall of my tire at full lock , not the steel rim.
One of mine also contacted the sidewall of one tire. After taking the wheel off, that's when i noticed that the brackets stuck out a bit. I then removed them and bent them closer to the frame. Seems like no more issues with tire scrub.

Went to the pick and pull yesterday, got my calipers of a 4wd blazer, with brackets they cost me a whopping $22 bucks. I didn't bring a socket to get the hub nut off, so no dust shields. Rockauto lists the dust shields for $33 bucks apiece, Mr. Cheap will be revisiting the boneyard for the dust shields today.
