I would have been camped out in the back with my anti theft device in hand.
I'd leave the wife in it cause anybody messing with anything "her" money went would be beat with a Costco size can of whoop @$$ that they would never forget. But I was camped out & cause I'm getting too old to really fight it out, it'll be a double of a 45. But I'm still all about treating them like horse theives.

Surprise AZ.
I was just reading about the stolen G body's on the Power Tour. It really pisses me off. I hate thieves. Some little kid tried to seal my El Camino about 20 years ago. He broke out the left quarter glass and had cracked open the column in less than 2 minutes. I managed to catch him with some help of two guys that had just parked next to me at Target. After that I installed a hidden kill switch. When I redid the car last time I installed a Steadfast Collar on the column. and I also use a club with the wheels turned all the way to the left. I'm not saying it will stop the car from ever being stolen, but it will sure slow them down.

Silly question , but in years past did hotels on the route not supply Security overnight in the parking lots ? Of course if what I see in Toronto is an example of the guards used , you have to wake them or get them to drop their smart phone to do anything.

To help against splacking, you can install a single throw double poll switch to the tach wire on the HEI. One way it allows the tach to work and the car to run. The other way when you wire it properly, grounds the terminal. I am thinking that maybe run the ground side through an unused idiot light on the dash to light up when you have the switch in the ignition kill position.

Thoughts?
