You gonna have that in and running by Sunday night? I'm camping all next week and won't be able to check in!

Sunday night would be... Optimistic. Lmao, slow and steady is the theme here. I want the exhaust manifolds and accessories on the engine before it goes in because I don't want to be fighting for space in the car. It's not really a lot of work to get the accessories on it, but I just paid for the engine so money is a little tight. It'll get there

There is enough room to slip the manifolds in with the engine in, as well as all the acessories. But, there is also room to drop it in with the manifolds on. All the v6 front drive stuff bolts up. BUT, keep in mind the bracketry from the v6 is metric, while the 350 is not. Also, that engine would look killer with these valve covers (that TA no longer sells, buick got mad at em I guess so now they only say TA Performance).

However, you'll need to trim a portion of the AC box for them to fit. I'm in the same boat. Whichever of us gets to them first, the other will use the other's documentation of how to do it. :D

Also, I saw your post about manifolds on v8buick. In regards to that, they swapped sides somewhere in the mid 70s with where the heat riser goes on the manifold, so you might be lucky and be able to use a 72 and 76 manifold (they were all the same, save for riser location, from 68-80) so you can have both of them with the beveled outlet for attaching to downpipes. And as factory, Buick didn't use manifold gaskets. Don't use the derpy one sided silver ones, those blow out and leak. if you must use a gasket, use the remflex graphite gaskets.

How well do Buick manifolds flow, out of curiosity?

Yeah I'm gonna need some taller valve covers because the stock ones won't clear the roller rockers. And I noticed that the TA ones don't say Buick on them any more, so I'm gonna go with the style you posted. I'm not doing any free advertising for TA.

They are pricey though, but you can be damn sure not a lot of people have em. And the do need the holes cut out for the oil fill and breather. On a SBB, they are on the same valve cover on the driver's side. Passenger is always blank.
