can anyone post of some pic'S ON HOW SOME OF YOU MOUNTED STAND ALONE TRANS KOOLERS....HAVE Perma Kool trans koolerfor an 80 malibu...thanks

3/8" rubber hose on the cross bars and double wrapped zip-ties.

In the "function over form" department, I just used the through-the-radiator plastic zip ties and mounted it directly to it. Apologies for the poor picture quality. I did a much nicer installation on my Cougar because I cared more. But here's the wagon.

been thinking of putting one in my cutlass. i know dumb question. your lines to the radiator. you remove them from the radiator and cap the radiator. and run them to the cooler.

I pulled a tank off a newer, plastic and aluminum radiator, and the trans cooler was laughable. I deemed it unnecessary at that point.

You can run to the radiator cooler first and then threw the auxiliary cooler to the trans or if you a big enough cooler use just that. 175 deg and under your doing good.
