I am planning a trip to look at a parts car and the seller says it is a 79 Supreme....and I only have one washed out poorly focused photo to look at.

I have a 79 Calais and I have a list of parts I need for it.

Is it worth the 100 mile trip to look at the Supreme if I need these items for my Calais:

Complete interior (Mine is a Hurst)

Bumper fills both front and back

Seller is asking 1200 for the car. Not sure if it is running or not, been parked for a long time. Just said V8 Auto missing A/C parts

Seller wont sell off parts, wants the car sold as is. I've never purchased a "parts car" for any of my projects. Just don't want to throw good money
at a bad idea and end up losing more than it's worth.

Car does have body damage, driver's door and maybe more.

Calais has sportier interior and buckets, Supreme has pillow top bench and no console. Seems most Supremes have sweep speedo and standard steering wheel. Not sure if door panels are the same.
Bumper fillers should be the same. I think the grilles and header panel are the only body differences.

I'd keep looking. That car looks too complete to part out just for bumper fillers.

If you need seats and interior trim that is specific to a bucket seat car, and the Supreme is a bench seat car, might be wise to keep looking. As mentioned above, the bumper fillers could be had from just about any '78-'80 2 door Cutlass. Not sure if '78-'80 Buick Regal might be the same-maybe someone else here would know.

i was going to list the similarities but i would be here all night. after looking at the pic you provided, i'll make this easy. everything is the same except; grille/header, upper door panels but may be close as well as the interior insert below the quarter window, the seat pattern and if cloth, the cloth is different.

unless you have a place to keep it or are will to sell and ship parts, passing on it may be wise.
