For my current 86' Regal Project I have a center console and B & M shifter for it but for the time being since I have a NOS interior I just modified a universal console so I could have a little storage and cupholders.

Would you trade those seats with your mod done to passenger side for some great cond. buckets? I pay shipping your way and vice versa?
Thanks, but I like my seats and being they are factory new and both power I will not replace them unless I get Cerullo buckets like my Monte has with matching material.

I had never considered removing the center of a 60/40 split. Great idea! 565bbchevy

Found a youtube video of a guy doing it on his regal:

Not sure if he is in this forum

In my '84 Cutlass I had one of those cheap aftermarket cup holders on the center hump. Years ago, I took an armrest out of a '97 LeSabre with the dual fold-out cup holders & storage compartment inside the armrest, had it upholstered & stitched to match the original stitching on the factory armrest. kind of a tight squeeze when folded up between the seat backs of my 60-40 seats but who does that?

Since the car already has the brackets on the floor why not get a set of maroon Monte buckets and console and do it the easy way. The B&M shifter fits really nice in a Monte console. My 81 Malibu was originally a bench seat car.

I built a custom shifter mount in my wagon that includes a gauge pod and cup holders. We also notched a bench seat for a B&M shifter; nothing a sawzall and some duct tape couldn't fix.
