I will not bore you, so right to the point. MANY years ago, a lady that lived local to me had purchased a 1985 Oldsmobile Cutlass, ALL black, ground effects, H/O emblems in the appropriate locations, even had "cars and concept" T Tops. This car just had the WOW factor. It was torture seeing her drive it in the salty winter months and after MANY years of submission to the unfavorable elements, it became a rot box. She retired the car and it sat in her driveway for about 2 years with no plates, i stopped, made an offer and purchased it with the intention of saving some of the parts on it, and I did so. MY QUESTION IS, was there such a concept car actually made , was this one!?? PERHAPS by cars and concept, or maybe by some car enthusiasts along the way of the cars life? I Have been INTRIGUED to know for so many years now. The workmanship was profesional, no corners cut, even when i removed the ground effect, they did a professional job, I have NO pictures of this car unfortunately. I will list the details below of what the car had, and PLEASE, share your opinions and knowledge, perhaps someone knows what it was and they only made 1 and now I can go kick myself in the a** for having it crushed so many years ago. Thanks in advance for any info you may have!

*1985 Oldsmobile Cutlass Coupe
*3.8 V6 /OD floor shift automatic
*Grey interior W/ buckets
*Cars and Concepts T Tops
*Front rear and side ground effects
*H/O emblems (placement) front lower door panels, rear deck lid and dash
*Full gauge package, tach ect...

I vaguely recall watching a video on YouTube awhile back, where someone was being interviewed about owning a concept vehicle that was used as a proposal to GM for a Hurst Olds vehicle. I can't remember if it was for the 1985 model year though. The thing that's kind of throwing me off in the description of the vehicle that you had, is the V6 engine. I'm wondering if it might have been a vehicle that was modified by the selling dealer, to look like a Hurst car. Just thinking out loud here.

No worries!! APPRECIATE your thoughts! I often thought this too, and we may be correct, then I get thinking, well, if cars and concepts did the T Tops, perhaps they did all the other modifications also. The workmanship screamed cars and concepts to me from seeing past C&C mods.
